Corinna Wilson has been teaching yoga for one year and practicing for about ten.  She did her 200-hour teacher training at Yogaworks in Manhattan and is currently enrolled in a second 300-hour teacher training.  Originally from Northeastern Ohio, Corinna came to New York after college in 2003 to pursue a career in fashion design.   She eventually realized that the fashion industry wasn’t emotionally fulfilling enough and began teaching English as a second language in 2007.  She then knew she had found her calling.  She started teaching yoga to friends and family members, inspired by the sense of peace and well-being that people achieve after practicing yoga.  Her teaching style is very technical, moving gracefully and mindfully through each asana while paying close attention to each body part from sternum to arch.  In our busy  lives as New Yorkers , we’re often so focused on the end result, that the appreciation and reflection for the building blocks along the way are often lost.  For Corinna, yoga is a pathway to retrace and reflect upon those litte parts of ourselves that can sometimes get swallowed up by our modern world.
